Songs to sum up a diabetes moment or day

Dear Diary

MOODY BLUES LYRICS

"Dear Diary"

Dear diary, what a day it's been.
Dear diary, it's been just like a dream.
Woke up late. Wasn't where I should have been.
For goodness sake what's happening to me.
Write lightly, yours truly, dear diary.

It was cold outside my door.
So many people by the score.
Rushing around so senselessly.
They don't notice there's people like me.
Write lightly, yours truly, dear diary.

They don't know what they're playing.
They've no way of knowing what the game is.
Still they carry on doing what they can.
Outside me, yours truly, dear diary.

It's over. Will tomorrow be the same?
I know that they're really not to blame.
If they wern't so blind then surely they'd see.
There's a much better way for them to be.
Inside me, yours truly, dear diary.
...

Somebody exploded an H-bomb today.
But it wasn't anyone I knew.

those times when you have an extreme hypo and nothing in

For those days when you're feeling particularly self-pitying:

Tragically, Nick Drake ended up killing himself - he suffered from depression - but he always intended this song as a piece of self-mockery. A mighty talent, by the way: if you haven't heard anything of his, start out with "Northern Sky" and "River Man"; you'll find them both on YouTube

Love that film! Especially the mini Stonehenge
"Hello Cleveland! This one goes to 11!!!"....Oh yes it's a quality film, probably the funniest film in history imo, the stonehenge moment is hilarious.

Only fie leaves left.

Yes, love Nick Drake, though I think the jury's still out as to if it was suicide or a tragic accident. His song Black Dog really shows how depression can feel. Very sad that he didn't live long enough to realise what a cult figure he becam (though maybe it's not exactly how he would want to be remembered)
