Good evening all

Some advice pse

Suffered with type 2 Diabetes for about 5 years controlled well until January this year when my Hbiac test showed a figure of 90.

Have gone on diet and actually last test showed 50 really good .

Also as it was so high i was told to test every day and from 25 in January now down to an average of 6.7 per day .

But since January have suffered with sore feet with a pinched like feeling in my toes and feet feel as if they are burning .

It is so bad i hardly sleep at all as the pain etc is worse at night .

Legs and ankles also swollen .

Have been taking Magnesium Bisglycinate as a supplement not really helped .

Anyone else experience these symptoms please

Thanks

Derrick

It sounds like neuropathic pain but Dr should confirm that. I have it and varies in intensity. Mine started with very sharp pain in the arch of feet and into toes. Sometimes feels like my toes are in ice cold water (like that headache pain you get when you eat an ice cream too quickly). I think personally I get bad episodes of pain if I eat the wrong foods or after a few too many beers. I think the damage was done when my sugars weren't controlled but interestingly I recall the pain got worse when I went onto Metformin. I've tried Magnesium Taurate but it hasn't made any difference. Looks like I'm stuck with it. Good luck anyways and see the Doc.
