Sore, numb legs after BG's have dropped quickly?

My BG's have dropped signifigantly in the past 2 months from an average of mid teens down to about 6-8. This is brilliant and I feel great, but I've found that after I've started walking most days 30 - 60 mins, I have been experiencing numbness, mainly in the lower leg. I'm also getting pins and needles in other areas, on and off, such as back and backside. I have been checked by a podiatrist about 8 months ago and my feet were good.

Seems all a bit sudden and coincidental, with my drop in BG's. A month ago I could go for a walk and have very little issue.

Anyone experienced similar?

I haven't had my legs go numb walking except when I'm actually having a hypo.... then I can't feel my feet on the ground if I'm walking. It sounds like you need to get checked out by your doctor as it could be that you have circulation issues in your legs maybe. Mind you I get pins and needles from side effects of one of my meds in various places... but I don't associate it with my diabetes as it only started when I started the med. My doc knows about it. I get sharp nerve pain just under my skin anywhere on my body and the pins and needles and my doc said it is paraesthesia which is one of the side effects of the med. That could be what you're getting too?... but you would need to find out the cause. I wish you the best. :)
