Sore /Painful toes

I am a t2 diabetic on diet control. BS leels seem fine (ie less than 5.5 when I awake).

Just recently I have noticed that my toes are very sore. Its feels as if I have blisters on them (indeed there are particularly sore spots which are very tender and red.)

Anyone else experience something similar and more importantly know what it is and how to overcome it?

Have you looked at chilblains ? Very common at this time of year.

Thanks Sugarless Sue, looks like it is Chilblains... the symptoms are almost exacly as described... I'll wear another pair of socks!

You can get remedies from the chemist. There used to be one called ' snowfire' don't know if it is still around though.
