sore throat cold/flu

Now the winter's here the sniffling season's arrived and there'll be much wailing and gnashing of teeth over the sore throats and colds that seems to be spreading around at the moment.

Needless to say, at the moment I've got the Mother of All Sore Throats and Niagra Falls equivalent of a drippiung nose......

My question is, in such a state as this, would my blood pricking reading be affected with false readings or will there be no difference?

An infection can often raise your BG levels, the other month my levels were up a point or two and I couldn't figure out why - the next day I came down with sore throat cough etc.

women find their cycles effect their BG levels, and I'm sure that many other people can give other factors that effect their levels.
