sore toes and feet

painful toes and pregabalin capsules this medication seens to help to relieve the pain but have trouble walking any one have any comment
 
If you're sure it's diabetes related, VERY TIGHT blood glucose control should help. o.e. BG around 5 as much of the time as possible

There was an excellent site on neuropathy which disappeared after the owner died and I haven't found if the information has been put up elsewhere yet.

Apart from tight BG control, like never spiking over 8 or so, the protocol was Alpha Lipoic Acid 300 - 600 mg/day and Evening Primrose Oil 500 - 1000mg. This seems to have helped mine, and over a long period of time some of my autonomic neuropathy symptoms have also improved. There was also a discussion of benfotiamine, a derivative of thiamine (B1)
