Sore toes

Since I have been on insulin(18 months), but been type two for 5 years, two of my toe nails have become white, my doctor says that's just bruising but more recently when I finish work and take my boots and socks off - my little toes are becoming more tender and a type of pins and needles follows.
Does anybody else get this??

Hello Puppydog1,

Have you any more data you can add? E.g.:

How's your control been the past couple of years?
Are your shoes too tight?
Have you been sitting/kneeling/scrunching your toes in the time before you remove your shoes?
Have you done anything recently that is different from before you started getting the pins and needles?
Have you been to a podiatrist / chiropodist?

Kind regards,
Conrad
