sort of low carb

well i had to modify the low carb diet because i became really ill (severe constipation) im eating a lot less carbs and sugars are staying fairly stable but was really really fed up, with all my hard work on the low carbs and then being really ill and hardly eating at all i did not lose a single ounce of weight. Ah well cant have it all i suppose :D
 
Bran is low carb, as are most green vegetables, as a last resort there are some very good laxatives but best ask the doctor about those.

I eat lots of vegetables, some fruit, and bran in home made bread. I am never constipated now, but I was when I first started on reduced carbs.

It was the opposite way round with me. I was constipated before I started low carbing. As soon as I started low carbing, everything went back to normal again. I put it down to the addition of a little more fat in my diet.
