Southmead Hospital, Bristol

Hubby has to have a bone scan at Southmead Hospital on Wednesday and has to be there by 12.15. We were wondering whether it will be better to park there or use the Park and Ride. Has anyone experienced the parking situation at Southmead?

I dont have experience of that hospital but here in the Midlands it is cheaper to get the bus to the hospital (if you're physically able to) than try to find a parking space and pay parking fees.
