Try looking at the unsweetened types
Hi Loulou. It was at my local Aldi supermarket (edited previous post to include that info), and they only carried those two types.

Yeah, next time I'm at a different super market I look around and see what else is available.

Have fun there are lots around some are even flavoured. My favourite is to make my own from fresh fruit and unsweetened soya milk

I got Alpro organic fresh soya today in Waitrose, which was 1.78 (gulp) but if I had already tried it, I could have got 3 for £3. However, I failed to notice that the organic original fresh one contains apple juice. The long life unsweetened Alpro organic original at 1.40,(brand match to Tesco) in almost identical packaging, wasn't in stock.

Also nipped into Tesco, bought Tesco organic longlife unsweetened soya for £1- just water, beans and 'natural flavouring'.

So far, I like the M Organic unsweetened long life soya from Morrisons and the Rude Health organic hazelnut from Abel & Cole or Ocado, best.

Can Soya, almond milk etc. be heated?
Soya milk can be used to same as normal milk be careful when adding in to tea and coffee as it curdles easy, I always let it cool a minute first. I am allergic to nuts so sorry I can't help with almond milk

Yes. I have coconut and almond soya milk in my hot coffees.
Warm it up but don't let it boil. I haven't tried red hot milk but it might change it's dynamics.
