Spikes and lows

Hi I am on slow acting insulin and always get spikes when I eat anything, even the lowest amount of low carb. I also get very low (hypo bordering) readings with any exercise.
Are highs and lows potentially harmful? My GP doesn’t seem worried but I can’t believe it’s ok.

Welcome to the forum @Retepnhoj
I think people will need a little more information before they can give you any meaningful answers.
What type of diabetes do you have, how long ago were you diagnosed, is insulin the only medication you are using, how high are your spikes and how low are your lows, what does your diet look like, one persons Idea of low carb is someone's else's "oh my god i couldn't eat that much"
It may seem like we're just nosey but the more information you give the better answers you will get.
