Split between toe

Hello

I am a (fairly) new type 1, I've got a split between my little toe and the one next to it. This is not something new since getting type 1 - I have had it in the past before diagnosis. It's not athletes foot as I don't have any other symptoms and take care of my feet.

My main question is what do you recommend I do to look after it and prevent any infections? Is it something I should be concerned about?

See your GP for treatment before it gets worse.

I've had something similar and it was athletes foot. You may not show other symptoms.

Best to see the practice nurse practitioner who will be able to advise you.
