splits on my eyelids

Hi,
This is my first question and i'll do my best to describe my problem but it might not make sense.
Around a couple of months ago i developed a split on the eye lid of my left eye, a few weeks later
one came on my right eye. They are quite sore and they weep a sticky clear liquid which gets into
my eyes and effects my eyesight. The only thing that helps is an eye bath and wash 4 or 5 times a
day. I've seen the doctor and he has requested an appointment at the hospital which i'm waiting for.
I was wondering if anyone else has had (got) this problem as its really getting me down. I'm type 2
diabetic and i take 1 gliclazide tablet a day.

Hello AndyPandy54 .

Ooooh that dosent sound nice or comfy for you.
I havent heard of this but others may well have .

If you are still awaiting an appointment - with it getting
'any' worse [more sore or ooozy] .
PLEASE do pop back and see your GP .
Anything to do with your eyes/feet is too risky to leave unattended .

It must certainly be very worrying and frustrating for you at present.
