hi all

Tried searching but can’t find another thread on this. Have had my libre in 12 days today so near end of cycle but got ripped out of arm playing football (soccer for you non uk people) this evening.

Does anyone have any recommendations for stopping this next time? I have found my self a lot more concerned and motivated about my diabetes with it on so would like to keep it but equally don’t want to stop playing sport?

Thanks

Chris

Some of the swimmers on here use Tegaderm tape (you can find it on Amazon) which you can get various sizes to cover the Libre, it is breathable which might help keep it on when playing football.

Some of the swimmers on here use Tagaderm Tape, it is like a large breathable see through plaster you can get in various sizes, some use it to help the Libre stick to them as well.

You can find it on Amazon might be worth a look and should help keep it on during football.

In addition to Tagaderm, I have heard some use VetRap when they swim/exercise.
The advantage of this is that it is reusable: it just sticks to itself.
Some may also think the bright colours are an advantage - I guess you could choice something that matches your footie kit.
