Had swimming lesson. . Wish I could say I swam for it but I did try.
 
Got my 40 minute walk in despite the weather, and about 10 minutes stepping.

Ahem! Weren't we meant to finish this 40 day challenge weeks ago? I've been getting Connie to cover me when I was skiving and I wasn't skiving 'cos the challenge has finished! I feel robbed (but healthy).
 
Was it 40 days or 40 minutes a day? Or 40 minutes for 40 days? Miiiissss!
 
I managed 15 mins swim and 35 aquafit today.
 
When we started 'the 40' we decided on 40 minutes with no end date so that others could join when they want to.
Do you want to continue of try something else to keep it fresh ?
I feel a bit fluey today , Im hoping its just tiredness.
Going to go on my bike.
 
Can we change it to Sporty Ten ...In my enthusiasm to start well I slung my exercise dvd on ,I'm there panting .giving it the moves when my knee just "went" .I hobbled off for a shower and today I'm sporting a very red very swollen knee .I'm such a pratt ...I should have started gently dohhhh.

Not defeated I've done the stairs a few times today and I'm hoping I'll be better for a walk to the village butcher tomorrow which I can assure you WILL take me 40 mins

....and there's me thinking it was forty seconds, no wonder I'm not seeing the benefits doh!

...forty MINS walking done today and 15 before work...
 
Couple of hours or so walking round Whitby - May get on bike later if legs come back to life. Mr E took the long route home and bits of me are numb.
 
Well done Susiespearish just takw your time . You aren't in a race with anyone. Its about what you can do without over doing it.
 
Busy day at work so no lunchtime walk
Stomped around the living room with my little weights for 40 minutes. Think the weekend is catching up with me.
Did move about for 40 minutes though
 
Funny day yesterday managed to wash floor using mop as crutch my hubby did try but no one told him you need to at least half fil mop bucket an inch of water and same amount of cleaner leaves the floor rather sticky!!!!! We then popped to supermarket and I left my crutch in the avocado section and remembered at till so I said rather loudly ' I have forgotten my crutch' hubby went back for it telling me to call it crutches not crutch as it sounds better . Other shoppers
Mostly Spanish so they didn't understand anyway ! Getting fed up with all this now going to hospital this morning to get stitches out and see consultant x

Hurrah, you walked all that way before you noticed you dod not use the crutches. Sounds like a good recovery in progress there.
