That is sad. It's sometimes frustrating to hear people say that diabetes hasn't stopped them doing anything, because for some of us it isn't that simple.
I completely agree, I think you're lucky if diabetes hasn't stopped you doing anything, it has stopped me doing plenty in the 22 years since my diagnosis.
I hope you get sorted out, it seems you have some options with people to talk to, so I hope they listen and you are able to find a solution
A quick update; I followed all your advice, and my line manager is arranging a meeting with Occupational Health. Meanwhile, my DN has approved me for Libre on prescription. I feel so much more positive than I did this time last week, and though I don't think the staffing situation will change any time soon, I hope I will be able to deal with it better.
