Hi Everyone
I’m a newbie to this forum, my name is Caitlin, I’m 19 and I've had T1 for 11 years now (
). I’m brand new to the low-carb way of life and after reading Dr Bernstein and a lot of the success stories on this forum I have decided to give it a go as I have never been able to achieve an Hba1c under the 7% mark (and the 7.0% was mainly due to a lot of hypos).
So I was just wondering if anyone has a low-carb alternative to the standard ‘bread and milk’ weekly shopping list? Or do you just plan different meals each week and buy according to that?
