Hehe indeed I have a lucky cow (looks swiftly over shoulder  )that also can consume said items. I used to walk 5 miles to the McDonalds have a Tea and watch my wife and kids consume all kinds of goodies before I was diagnosed diabetic. BUT I used to love KFC had it at about 1-2 times a month (usually Friday lunchtime work treat), haven't had one since about June last year ! I know what you mean Ardbeg but peeps are allowed treats now and again and tbh for the last year I have found most of the biggest junk on our supermarket shelves often in the form of 'Healthy' food :( One thing that particularly bugs me is that I wasn't observant enough to see how much sugar was on the 'carvery best range' of chicken, turkey and peppered beef let alone the healthy wholemeal I was putting it on. A KFC for me is probably better than that best of the range & wholemeal ... sad but true. In real terms neither are good but the healthy option many percieve is not the one that produces the lower blood sugar result. I think a lot of us might have seen that with a simple baked potatoe(possibly not) ... it just depends on what you can metabolise. In general I know what you mean but now and again its not too bad especially if your numbers are not too bad ... Its the pear that's the culprit in all of this  All the best Richard.
