soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I have in my drawer some Starlix tablets, although I rarely take any. It's a blood sugar lowering medicine, which has a very short action time. Covers a single meal. I have pretty much given up using it. I don't need it. It is useful to have if I get into one of those "shall I eat these carbs situations?" It also helps cause weight gain, so I'm keeping away from it as much as possible.
Anyone else ever used it?

I have friends elsewhere who keep Starlix around and use it ad lib mainly when eating out, lets them get away with a few more carbs on occasion.

Hi Patch
ask your Doctor for it. that's how I got mine. You're meant to take it before each meal, but I generally don't bother. It was useful at my nephew's wedding last year. the whole family stayed in ahotel fo a weekend and my meal choice was sometimes "take it or leave it" I did sometimes with a Starlix.
