Sugar is in the carbohydrate food group and our bodies turn all carbs into glucose in the blood. If we ask @daisy1 nicely, she'll give you a starter pack to get you going.

Why do you think this, as it clearly states on the tablet information taking statins can cause diabetes !It's unlikely type 2 is caused by statins. However type 2 development is very closely linked to lifestyle, dietary and some genetic factors. These factors are also linked to high cholesterol. If you develop one you already have the risk factors for the other.
