It's been in the news recently that there may be a 'cure' to diabetes by having a stem cell transplant. What I doubt though, is the word cure. If this procedure is done will I be swapping one medicine (insulin) for another (anti rejection meds and steroids). And will this change my prospects of joining the forces?
