Steroids at 34 weeks

Hi,
So I'm going in for the steroid injections tomorrow as LO is estimated at 7.9lbs at 34+2 days and booking in to be induced at 36 weeks. I'll be on a sliding scale during the steroids. I'm just looking for any tips or advice with controlling sugars afterwards. How long did you stay in for when having them? Anything information or experiences would be greatly appreciated. TIA x

Sorry, I didn't have steroids so can't answer personally, but I believe most women stay in for a couple of days while they have the steroids.

The sliding scale should control your BS and I imagine you'll be released once they're happy your sugars have come back down and you're back in control.
