Stevia - which one please?

Hi,
I'm just baking WhitbyJet's Almond Muesli (smells lovely) minus the Stevia. I couldn't find any locally and was confused looking on the web. When the recipe says 1/2 tsp Stevia is that pure Stevia or one of the other products that seem to have bulking agents in them? Can anyone suggest a cheap source?
Also is Xylitol a direct equivalent?
I hope it tastes OK without the sweetener, I'll know at lunchtime. :)
