Long before ( well quite a few months) I was diagnosed with T2, I had noticed that I seemed to be producing more saliva than seemed necessary. Also it seemed sticker that usual and caused discomfort at night and early morning, waking , choughing or choking, and later it does seem to have a sweet taste ?.. it this the body trying to get rid of sugars in the fluids ??
defin a yukky question

Don't know that one, but I do know that saliva breaks down starch to sugars, so if you have any starch in your mouthe, you'll fairly quickly get a sweet taste from the sugar( maltose) that's forming
