Good luck at the dentist, A7, and don't worry about the pooch-breath----she has smelled everything, you can be sure. Aye, ketosis does gives me "fruity" breath, also, metallic breath and acetone breath. Few other odd odours around the bod also.:yuck: What my acetone taste brought to mind was a scene from the fab vampire movie, "Immortality", when Jude Law tells his sweetheart that his breath has an acetone smell and that means that his body is "eating itself". He meant he was dying. That is ketoacidosis (sp?) when the muscles are actually wasting away. :mask: Anyway, I thought that the acetone reference was hilarious. Looks like my Obamacare is going to kick in soon, so I'll be spending a lot of time going for all those specialist visits. Great news! The local clinic that has been helping me out just got a large $ grant, so I think I shall be getting 6 months worth of free lancers and strips. Thank God for small favors. {Amazing what I get my jollies off on these days. Almost pathetic. This disease certainly changes one's priority and perspective.) :playful: a-h-h-h-h lime vodka.......I don't drink at all, but that sounds fantastic. Stroganoff for Russian night must have been :hungry:. I've been eating a lot of red meats lately, myself, so I've put the vegetarian thing to completely to rest. Thanks for the update, A7. Incidentally, we are both now officially "Active Members", as per our avatar inscriptions. Guess we passed the "initiation stage". :p
