Hi
I’ve been low carb now since Feb 18 last HbA1c was 38 (great) . But a couple of times I’ve experienced severe stomach cramps ,I mean like really bad lower stomach cramps and diarrhoea. Normally following a couple of days of constipation the cramps get bad and nothing I take will stop the runs . Anybody else have this goin on . I’m on hols at the moment so that’s not brill . So goin to docs when I return . Just wondered if anyone else had this goin on at any time and if the low carb was the reason

To be honest, it could be any number of things. You do right to get it investigated, though.
I've had a touch of constipation (when I first started Low carbing) but not enough to cause cramping.

Hope it clears so that you can enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Assuming it is not perfectly normal Delhi Belly, from being on holiday.
Probably nothing worse than mild touch of Irritable Bowel, especially if it is 'Occasional'. Not much can be done medically, beyond strong laxatives, but it could be an indicator of going overboard on the LCHF and you need to add a little more fibre to the diet.

If there is blood, or attacks become regular, bent double pain, you need to see the Quack toot'.
