Type 1 Stomach pains

Hi

Just wondering if it is just me or is it common for period pains to get worse since diagnosis of diabetes and also seem to have now developed IBS as well. if it doesn't rain it pours!!

Diagnosed type 1 in Dec 2013 on novorapid and lantus mdi.

Period pains do get worst with diabetes. Menorrhagia is quite common among diabetics. Do some regular exercise to keep urself flexible. That will help with severe pains. Antispasmodics like mefenamic acid also help with severe cramps.

Thanks Debbie.

Thought I was just imagining that it was getting worse. I'll speak to Dr about those anti-Spasmodic as my usual nsaid `s aren't helping the same now.
