I have been diagnosed t2 now 12 months and on 4 metformin a day. I monitor my bloods twice a day and they vary from 10-16. Recently I have been getting a rather strange feeling in my foot/ankle it's almost like it's being squeezed or socks are too tight. (Even though I'm not wearing socks) . There is no obvious swelling/redness or injury. Any ideas? Thanks

I have no idea what's going on with your foot and ankle, but would suggest you let a medic have a look for you.

Aside from that those bloods would be rather higher than I would like. Whatever is happening to your foot, you could do with getting those blood scores down a bit.

What do you generally eat and drink on a typical day?

To be honest my diet is not as great as it could be but I am trying. My downfall is bread. I have been recently trying to read up more about low carbs rather than low fat. This is all very new to me and if I'm honest for the first few months was in denial. It's only now the aches and pains start to appear I have realised that drastic changes are needed. I am very good at making excuses and thinking it won't happen to me. But it already has hasn't it. As a single mum of 3 I get myself into a cycle of coming home from work, with all the good intentions but seem so warn out I tend to eat erratically picking on rubbish when the kids (teenagers) are off doing their own things
