Just a bit of stress doesn't seem to affect me much, but if im so anxious or stressed out my heart is racing and im really panicing, then sure that will send them up too.
I think Dr Bernstein wrote in his book that when he wasn't used to public speaking his BS would spike up from having to give TV interviews before he learned how to control this.
The levels you mention are very high though, I think there is maybe more to consider in your case than stress alone. Hope this helps
