Hi my hba1c was 7.6% last week but was told to stop insulin, since being diagnosed in July 2013 my hba1c has rise from
July 2013-6.0 %
Nov 2014-6.5%,
aust 2015-7.0 %
October 2015-7.6 %
Started insulin in August but as of Friday 16th October stop insulin even tho my hba1c is gradually rising I'm also on sitagliptin 100mg , gliclazide 160mg+80mg also on asthma mediation and as of Friday 16 have been started on blood pressure tablets 2.5mg of ramipril

You can minimise the amount of inhaled steroid you need to manage asthma by using a spacer device. This will direct more of the drug into your lungs, instead of spraying it onto the roof of your mouth.
What reason did they give for stopping your insulin?
Already use a spacer apperntly only need insulin when on steroids but I've notice my suger going up since stopping the insulin, iam not at panic station level yet they at between 10 16 which is high for me as when on insulin suger where in single figure once it got in my system

If the only way to get your sugars under 8.5 most of the time is to use insulin, then you might want to see them again and discuss it. I wouldn't feel comfortable seeing my levels above 8.5 for very long.
