TE="Berrill159, post: 2386966, member: 456428"]I have been diagnosed for about two years and have done pretty much everything my doctors have said. I have lost 48 kilos though I dont exercise too much only taking the dog for a walk.
My question is no matter what I do whether i am extra good or slightly bad my sugar levels go up and down alot. I take metformin twice a day rapid insulin before food and tourjeo insulin at night and trulicity once a week. My husband is on the same medication but is a terrible diabetic but seems to have more control with his sugar numbers. Its took over my life . I'm at my wits end understanding the whole thing. I have another appointment to get my results of my c-peptide test in 5 days. Anyone have some suggestions[/QUOTE]
I feel your despair. I've have type 1 diabetes for 9 years. Always had poor control. now have complications so I'm trying extra hard to bring my hba1c down. Experiencing lots more hypos. Lost all awareness to my hypos. If it's not stupidly low it's too high. I have read lots of useful advice on this site but nothing I try helps. Should just accept my fate I guess.
