Hi,
I am a third year student at The University of Salford studying Television and Radio. I am in the process of making a radio documentary for my final project about Dogs for Diabetics. It will be a 30 minute documentary highlighting the dangers of Type 1 diabetes and why dogs can be so useful to diabetics. I am also going to be covering the training process the dogs can go through in comparison to those dogs that can automatically detect it.
I am in the process of researching and planning this documentary so my question is -
Is there anybody interested in talking to me about their alert dogs and their lives with diabetes?
This is all genuine and student led, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
