I'm with you there brother..!

I am mum of newly diagnosed type 1.Didnt realise we needed to use weapons against each other .

I raise money for JDRF & have had the unfortunate experience to hear what I can only call D snobbery..
This has also extended to social network media which is how I got roped into it in the first place..
Words cannot express my disappointment in what I have seen...

& yes I am the son of a T1 "Dmom"...

@Stanleym I have no issue with your questioning my remark.
Please give yourself an hour. Come back & read the thread again..?
You may see it up to this point in the nature it was intended..?

Best wishes..

It always worthwhile asking them to elaborate on anything your unsure of...
Even if you think you are.. Sometimes.. Lol

Good advice Jaylee, but having the confidence to do so comes with age, I will admit I would walk away without asking 20-30 years ago.

But can they. It was only a suggestion was it not?

Certainly from what I read on the link... From what I understand about T2 weight issues can reduce insulin sensitivity to what the pancreas supplies..
So it would stand to reason a T1 could have a similar issue with the dose injected if there is a body weight gain..?
But why they would tag it "double diabetes" is still beyond me! I would have thought a certain amount of weight gain was the same hazard for both types, resulting in medication increase & wot not..?

I wouldn't know I've been the same weight since I was 18.. I'm 46 now.. Or will be in a few daze...
