Hmmmm I always wear my pump on trousers and was wondering soooo many people comment about wearing the pump in the bra... heres the stupid question... I tried that 1 time but the pump seemed to get really really warm... does this not effect the insulin? or do you all have pouches/socks you put it in so its not directly next to the skin?

Hi,

Not a stupid question, i thought the same when i first tried it. I still wear it very close to the skin, yes it does get warm but I've not experienced any ill effect from doing so. My insulin is still as effective if it was in my pocket all day.

You can get special pump pouches that clip on the bra and it hangs down like pocket inside your jeans does. Homemade devices will probably work just as well.

Up to you how you do it really, if you want to wear it like me, be mindful of your BG so be sure it's not effecting your insulin, i would hate for me to tell you that it's fine for me then it's not the same for you.

:)

It shouldn't make any difference, as the insulin is just reaching body tempreture.. So if it's going to overheat just being against the body, then inside the body it would be distroyed!
