soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I'm keeping on target without medicine so far, but it is hard. I didn't get to a walk today, because I went for a blood test. After a 40 minute wait, the third phlebotomist got some blood, by which time Iwas feeling rather poorly and clammy AND STRESSED. I got home covered( it feels ) in sticking plasters.
Inow know I can't handle much carb at all. I woke at 4.9 this morning and I'm up to 5.8 now after lunch. I had breakfast in the hospital cafe. a fried egg and a sausage and a coffee. I'll take the dogs out soom, when it stops raining. A brisk walk with them will help.

I feel for you Hana. That much butchering must have dropped you low.

As one who takes blood on a regular basis, here's a tip for everyone; get the blood letter to tie the tourniquet REALLY tight. If you have a 'good' vein, tell them. Let them know you are willing to wait for a vein to come up and that you would rather they get someone else if they feel they can only take it by jabbing in the dark. Stops all that fiddle, fiddle, fiddle.

Sounds like you could have rewarded yourself with a small Tescos cream and chocolate meringue at 5gms carb each. They come in boxes of four so give the others away!
