I've had diabetes since 2012 but i am not on any medication by HbA1C results were around 50 / 52 range and the last one - almost 12 months ago was 40 not sure what that is in %. But over the past 2 months i have noticed from my home monitoring my bg has gone out of control. I used to have bg of around 7.4 in the mornings and when i checked throughout the day it would be <7 two hours after i've eaten. Now in the mornings its around 11 and 2 hours after meals its 10 / 11 after lunch or dinner. Its happened all of a sudden. I've also developed pain in my feet over the last month. I have a blood test in a few days and an appointment with the nurse next week but i am struggling to understand what has caused this to happen so quickly.

Is it reasonable to assume that you've been solely diet controlled up to now? How careful are you with your diet?
Maybe your condition is worsening and you need meds to keep it under control. Have your activity levels changed? Do you feel well in other respects?
