What are your blood sugars like before and after meals? Maybe if they are high they could be a cause of your sleep problems and mood swings?
Rather than concentrate on what you can't eat, think about what you can eat. Write a list of all the foods you like and see where you go from there. Are there any on this excellent list?
If you do not have a meter then you really need to get one and check your blood sugar when you feel off. A meter is the best tool you could possibly have to get control of this and feel better.
