Sugar free magazine from W H Smiths

I bought this magazine the other day its full of lovely recipes one thing it tells you to use is coconut palm sugar wow I thought that's great something nice I can have at last
But when I told my diabetic nurse about it she said it would put my blood sugar up I just don't get it is there nothing you can have that's sweet what about artificial sweetener
is that ok for Diabetics I am depressed now:arghh:
 
I like my magazine made with sugar, I don't like the sugar free ones
palm sugars are sugars. carbs are mostly sugars
it gets tricky
 
They were very happy with me at my last clinic a week ago I have been diabetic 20 years I hate it I want to eat chocolate every day
 
that's good..have you tried cocoa powder, coconut oil, vanilla concentrate and spearmint essence.. make and roll the balls in desiccated coconut, refrigerate
eat as many as you want to
you're an old hand at it after 20 years, the queen sends out a watch at 50 yrs
