Your BG is not elevated. All those readings range from 98 to 111 mg/dl - for UK readers that's 5.6-6.1 mmol/l.I had my dinner @7pm. Some rohu fish, tuna chunks, 2 egg omelets with capsicum, grated carrot fry, 2 spoons if avacado salad.
After 43mind(7.43pm) - 111mg/dil
7.54pm -109mg/dl
8.14pm-108mg/dl
8.36pm-103mg/dl
8.55pm-103mg/dl
9.29pm-104mg/dl
10.10m-98mg/dl
10.39pm-100mg/dl
11.01pm-107mg/dl
11.11pm-102mg/dl
Why is it elevated? And not dropping?View attachment 59103
Sorry my fault I went into leaping before looking what the readings were in mmolYour BG is not elevated. All those readings range from 98 to 111 mg/dl - for UK readers that's 5.6-6.1 mmol/l.
First thing - all those readings are within the meter's 15% accepted inaccuracy. It is possible that it's not actually showing any real change.
The other thing is that the readings, if accurate, are normal and non-diabetic.
Finally, if you're stressing about the readings you're getting, that in itself might be affecting your BG. Most people who experience this say that stress causes their BGs to be elevated in the same way that blood pressure will go up under stress.
Is it possible to be a little more relaxed about testing so often, particularly when you're not seeing any high readings?

Thanks for responding. I will make it a habit to test less often!Your BG is not elevated. All those readings range from 98 to 111 mg/dl - for UK readers that's 5.6-6.1 mmol/l.

Excellent. As they measure different things they will hardly ever give the same figure, and if they do it's probably a coincidence. Thanks for responding. I will make it a habit to test less often!
My cgm sensor will expire in 9hours from now.
Cgm mard also varies.
My finger prick now shows 97mg/dl...and cgm 105mg/dl!!!
No. Am borderline. My hba1c was 5.9% in 2019 june. I was overweight (57kg)with lots of belly fat. It's not elevated.
Those are all perfect non diabetic numbers.
Are you diagnosed with T2?
So you were right on the borderline between non diabetes and prediabetes.Am borderline. My hba1c was 5.9% in 2019 june.
There's no reason at all to expect complications with your numbers. I'm sorry about your mother but she was likely in a completely different situation than you are, do you know what her hba1c's were usually? My mom (64yrs) has been diabetic for over 27 yrs with renal failure now. I dont want to go down the same path.
Right! Will change to prediabetes. So you were right on the borderline between non diabetes and prediabetes.
Diabetes is only diagnosed at 6.5%.
Having Type 2 in your profile is a bit confusing because you're reporting perfectly normal numbers. If you did have diabetes at some point you'd likely be very happy with your current numbers because they would have significantly dropped into the non diabetic range!
You might want to change your profile to No diabetes or Prediabetes to prevent this confusion.

Keeping an eye on your numbers is not a bad idea with diabetes running in the family, but constantly testing and seeing normal numbers, and getting all those hba1c's tested all the time doesn't seem helpful in any way.
Even insulin dependent T1s have their hba1c only tested between once and 4 times a year!
A hba1c over 12% (110mmol/mol) means that her average BG must have been over 300 (17 mmol/l) for many years.Right! Will change to prediabetes.
my mother's sugars were uncontrolled (since her diagnosis in 1996). It used to be 12% something(in 2004,2005,2006), 7%, 6.9%(2017,2018). Of late it is 6.4%, 6.6% since she eats less due to her kidney disease. Giving her bolus insulin.
Thanks for encouraging me!A hba1c over 12% (110mmol/mol) means that her average BG must have been over 300 (17 mmol/l) for many years.
So please dn't let that scare you into thinking you'll develop kidney failure as well.
You're clearly ready to act should it turn out you do develop diabetes so you won't get that high.
For now, you don't have diabetes, and you may never develop it.
