Last Sunday morning there was a knock on my door. I opened to see two men carrying a lot of literature. Bigger fool me I should have shut the door there and then but politely said "yes". They said they were just carrying out a survey so I foolishly said "go on then".
One of them then asked if I preferred white or brown bread, so i told him I prefer white. He then replied in a stern voice "Eat brown bread". "But I like white " I told him. The two of them said in a stern voice together "Eat brown bread." So I again politely told them I prefer white.
With even more conviction they said "Eat brown bread." So I thought I've had enough of this and slammed the door shut on them.
Is it just me or does anyone else find these Hovis witnesses annoying?
