Swapping from MR to 'Normal' Gliclazide. What to expect.

I've just been taken off a 30mg MR tablet and put on a 40mg normal one. Can anyone tell me what's this likely to do to my BG readings. Most concerned about evenings when MR would theoretically still be active, but normal probably isn't.
