Sweating when eating

hi my first post.

I saw the doc yesterday and asked the question why when I start to eat does my temperature rise in my upper chest neck head area which causes a sweating which quickly turns to a cold sweat.

This really is annoying and the doc said I could be having an Hypo,,,,, what every time I eat. Really think he's in the wrong job.

Anyone help please

Hi Andrea and welcome to the forum.

What you describe is called gustatory sweating, and could be a complication of diabetes (autonomic neuropathy). I used to get it years ago but it seems to have cleared up, although I don't remember when.
