Yeah, I did try the Adonis bars when they first came out and I was not impressed at all.
They were very blunt and oily.
If they improved since then, I may try them, but still quite expensive.
I like the Adonis bars and have ordered the others, but not tried them yet.The PhD bars are soft and chewy but are unfortunately even more expensive. There are Adonis brownies too which I haven’t tried but I’ve heard good reports about.
I have tried the Adonis brownies and have just had some delivered actually. 7 carbs per portion and the chocolate ones are delicious BUT they are 12 quid for 6!!!!! plus postage. The PhD bars are soft and chewy but are unfortunately even more expensive. There are Adonis brownies too which I haven’t tried but I’ve heard good reports about.

If you are prepared to do some baking yourself, there are plenty of options you could try. These brownies are delicious: https://www.gnom-gnom.com/gluten-free-keto-cheesecake-brownies/

https://beautyandthefoodie.com/quick-paleo-english-muffins/ - you can make these in batches and freeze. Toast and have with chia seed jam or sugar free lemon curd (many recipes for both online)

If you are looking to buy something suitable straight off the supermarket shelf, you are far more limited for choice.
I too get confused with sweetener and usually stick to xylitol, though I used much less than suggested in the recipe for the brownies and they are still plenty sweet enough. I also use liquid stevia in some recipes and find that it doesn't give the odd after taste that the granulated stevia gives.Had a look at the Brownies as they were.... a fav.
The Sweetener
You’ve got options here. Think xylitol (no aftertaste and chewier texture), Lakanto (barely any aftertaste), and Swerve (some cooling sensation). Xylitol takes (much) longer to dry out though so your brownies will be extra delicate (think gooey) right after baking, so just keep that in mind.
I just can't get my head round sweeteners yet.... the tastes and the names probably don't help.
Looked at the pancakes and will be giving these a go. Many thanks Hj
