- Being type 1, my health and what really grates me are false people who make themselves out to be something when their not
You should try Stevia - they do a granulated form and it tastes just like sugar to meHello can anyone recommend a Sweetner for use in a coffee, before type 1 I use to love a coffee and I still like the very occasional cup but I substitute it for food to have two spoonfuls of normal sugar, there must be something else, I can't stand the little tablet sweetners they make it disgusting?

Sweetners are bloody awful, all of them. I pretty much gave up and just used sugar until I found xylitol, buy it online, quite expensive but in tea and coffee I cant tell the difference between xylitol and normal sugar and I have a really sweet tooth and am fussy as heck.

Hi, I understand how much nicer proper sugar tastes in coffee! The sweetener I normally use is Canderell (tablets not the sprinkled stuff). These don't leave a false aftertaste. If this still doesn't agree with you then perhaps consider having a cappucino instead of a normal coffee. I find that I don't need sugar in cappucino - no doubt down to the slightly sweet milk content. I find the same effect if I ever use Coffee-Mate in place of milk.
I switched from sweetex to Truvia. I wanted to remove aspartame from my diet and many of the sweeteners contain this. I love the taste and a little sprinkled on my weetabix it is lovely... It has the same texture as sugar.

Fruisana granulated is good. It is Fruit sugar so natural and better for you.
Our bodies do not metabolise Fructose very well, and too much fructose is toxic and can lead to liver damage.i add a link that you may wish to readWouldn't that be pure Fructose? Too much of that, although natural, isn't supposed to be good for us either
