has anyone any thoughts on Truvía® Baking Blend for baking, at the minute i use splenda but this has its critics, just not sure what to use ? im type 2 and it is under good control .
 
Yes truvia is good i was told by my nutritionist is ok as less sugar is in it and ys not all sweetners are good for us type two.just read the label and see the ones with 5% or less is good over that no good hope this help and put your mind at ease Nicola :-)

I use the Truvia grains in some cooking, but I mix in some Xylitol. I prefer both the taste and texture of Xylitol, but it's pricey and you need tto watch for diarrhoea as with all polyols.
For most recipes, you can reduce the quantity of sugar or its equivalent.
