FYI If you’re going somewhere sunny, then keep sun tan lotion away from the sensor/over patch as oil is an easy way to remove both! TBH I only had one Dexcom sensor, I usually have the Libre, which isn’t as waterproof. Have a great time!

Mar 15, 2026 #3 … and because the Libre isn’t as waterproof, I always cover the sensor with a transparent wound dressing like Tegaderm or Opsite. If you’re worried, you could do the same.
