My doctor has just switched me to Linagliptin (replacing Metformin and Gliclazide) after several years. When I asked him if I'd notice any difference he said it might cause some nausea, but probably not. What are your experiences with Linagliptin? Have you had any problems? I'd be grateful for any tips or advice.

Many thanks.

Hi Rich22
I was also put on Linagliptin on July 1st following my last blood test. I wasn't happy about it but i knew i had to do something to help lower my levels from 9 plus.
I must say that my blood levels went down into 5 's and 6's very quickly.
I had previously fallen off the low carbing diet. But went back on it when I started the new meds.
I have had some nausea episodes but this didn't last long. Also It has reduced my appetite which isn't a bad thing either
Good luck with your journey on them.
