Switching insulins

I have been using Novomix 30, 2 injections a day but i have decided to go upto 4 injections a day on Levemir and Novorapid to have more control with my blood sugars, could anybody give me some tips and advice on changing to this insulin please, iv been told to have 30 units of Levemir and 10 units of Novorapid before i eat my meals.

Did they suggest how many carbs you should be eating with your 10 units of novorapid?
