Swollen ankles/feet/legs

I am T2 on met and insulin. I recently started a second pill for my BP. My BP has improved but at a high cost. The front of my feet, around my ankles and my lower legs are now really swollen, tender and painful. is this inevitable?

Sounds like a side affect from that bp med. Have you read your info leaflet? If its painful go back to gp, he/she may change it for another.
