symptoms of psoriasis

How do I deal with the symptoms of psoriasis? I have red spots on my face and they get really dry flaky skin on them. I am 99% sure that it is psoriasis. What can I do about the symptoms?
 
You need to go to the doc to get a proper diagnosis - patchy dry skin could be anything - but if it is psoriasis there are lots of specialist creams available - psoriasis on the face is treated differently to the rest of the body as the skin is a lot more delicate - no steroid creams etc.

psoriasis is more than flakey patches it is usually raised from the skin and is inflamed looking - usually starts on the joints e.g. elbows knees knuckles etc

May be best to get it checked out then you can get the best treatment :)
